After extensive internal deliberation, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 AccessData User Summit, which had been scheduled for April 26 - 29 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
On March 1st, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a public health emergency after two residents in separate Florida counties tested positive for COVID-19, the coronavirus that has now spread around the globe. With so much uncertainty surrounding the containment of the virus, as well as already imposed travel restrictions on many attendees, we felt it was prudent to postpone this year's event.
We are monitoring the situation closely and it is our intention to reschedule the event when it is responsible to do so. We will keep everyone updated when we have additional details to share.
In the meantime, our staff will pro-actively reach out to everyone who registered for ADUS to discuss any appropriate refunds, or you may email us directly at email@example.com We will handle the cancellation of all hotel reservations for registered guests (without penalty to you). Finally, we encourage attendees to contact their airlines as soon as possible to request the waiver of any cancellation fees for air travel, due to the unforeseen public health emergency declaration by Gov. DeSantis.
We apologize for the inconvenience but hope you will understand the precautionary motivation behind our decision. Thank you for your support of AccessData and we hope to see you at our next User Summit.
